Diadynamic therapy

Diadynamic therapy is a method of influencing tissues with low-frequency pulsed currents, which is used to relieve pain, improve microcirculation, and relax spasmed muscles. It is an effective procedure in the complex treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system.
How does diadynamotherapy work?
A low-frequency pulsed current is applied to the tissue
Currents affect nerve endings
Pain impulses are blocked at the peripheral level
Local blood circulation improves
The tissue regeneration process is activated
Muscle relaxation or stimulation occurs depending on the mode
Who is it recommended for?
People with back, neck and shoulder pain
Patients with osteochondrosis and arthrosis
For people with muscle spasms and contractures
Patients with paresis and neuritis
People in the rehabilitation period after injuries
Those who have reduced muscle activity or hypodynamia
Main indications
-
Radiculitis, neuralgia, plexitis
-
Postoperative and post-traumatic pain
-
Chronic muscle fatigue syndrome
-
Restricted joint mobility
-
Vascular spasms and cold extremities
-
Prevention of muscle atrophy
Advantages of the procedure
Rapid pain relief without medication
Reducing muscle tension
Improving blood circulation
Stimulation of tissue repair
Safety when used correctly
Possibility of individual mode selection
Increased joint mobility
Minimal strain on the body
Lasting therapeutic effect after the course
Contraindications
-
Cardiac arrhythmias, pacemaker
-
Oncological diseases
-
Acute thrombosis and bleeding
-
Pregnancy
-
Purulent or active inflammatory processes
-
Epilepsy and severe neurological disorders
How does the session work?
The physiotherapist assesses the condition and selects a regimen. Electrodes are placed on the patient’s body with gauze pads. After adjusting the device, the patient feels a pleasant pulsation or light warmth.
Duration: 30 minutes.
Recommended course: 8–12 procedures every other day or daily (calculated individually for each patient).
Results
Noticeable pain reduction after just a few sessions
Relaxation of spasmed muscles
Reducing swelling
Improving blood supply to tissues
Increased joint mobility
Restoration of nerve conduction
Reducing muscle fatigue
Prevention of atrophy
General improvement in physical well-being
