Plasmolifting

Plasmolifting (PRP therapy) is an innovative tissue repair method that uses the patient’s own blood plasma enriched with platelets. The method is completely natural, does not cause allergies or rejection, and is therefore widely used in orthopedics, neurology, sports medicine, and cosmetology.
At ReStart, we use PRP therapy to treat joints, ligaments, tendons, injury recovery, herniated discs, as well as skin and hair regeneration.
How plasma lifting (prp therapy) works?
Every person’s blood contains platelets, which are responsible not only for clotting but also for tissue repair after injury. PRP therapy uses a platelet concentrate obtained by centrifuging the patient’s own blood. When this concentrate is injected into the affected area, the following occurs:Release of growth factors
Stimulation of tissue regeneration (cartilage, tendons, ligaments)
Improving blood microcirculation
Reducing inflammation and pain
Acceleration of restoration of functions of the affected area
Who is it recommended for?
The procedure is recommended for people with musculoskeletal diseases, athletes, patients after injuries or surgeries, as well as those with chronic pain or degenerative tissue changes.Patients with joint and spine diseases (arthrosis, arthritis, protrusions, hernias)
People with chronic back, neck, shoulder or knee pain
For athletes and physically active people after overloads and injuries
Patients during rehabilitation after surgeries and injuries
People with ligament, tendon and muscle injuries
Those with degenerative tissue changes and decreased mobility
Main indications
-
Arthrosis, arthritis, bursitis, tendonitis
-
Herniated and bulging intervertebral discs
-
Chronic pain in the back, neck, joints
-
Damage to ligaments, tendons, meniscus
-
Rehabilitation after injuries and surgeries
-
Muscle overload and microtears
Advantages of the procedure
Using our own biomaterial without chemical impurities
Minimal risk of allergic reactions and rejection
Natural activation of tissue regeneration processes
Reducing pain and swelling
Accelerate healing after injuries and surgeries
Improving joint mobility and tissue elasticity
Slowing down degenerative and age-related changes
Increasing muscle and ligament endurance
Short recovery period and quick return to active life
Contraindications
-
Acute infectious diseases
-
Oncological diseases
-
Blood clotting disorders
-
Some autoimmune diseases
-
Pregnancy and lactation (after consultation with a doctor)
How does the session work?
The PRP therapy procedure involves taking 10–20 ml of venous blood from the patient, centrifuging it to obtain platelet-rich plasma, treating the injection area, intra-articular or para-articular injection of the drug, and a short period of medical observation after the session.
Course duration: usually lasts from 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the patient’s condition and individual indications.
Recommended course: consists of 1–3 procedures with an interval of 7–14 days between sessions.
